Welcome, millions, perhaps billions, of faithful podcast listeners. We are your hosts, Jason Kimber and Dave Simmons. We'll bring you along with us as we share life stories from our experiences living in small towns. Or in Jason's case, an unincorporated community. That's true. Along with genius suggestions for solving the world's problems and a whole lot of laughs.
SPEAKER_04This is the Small Towns Podcast.
SPEAKER_03Well, good evening, everybody. It's a pleasure to welcome you back to the pod. Dave, how are you doing? Uh feel good. Look good, feel good. Well I got a haircut today.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you look good.
SPEAKER_03Feel like a hundred dollars. I always say look good, feel good. Listen, buddy, one thing about you. Actually, not about you, one thing about me. Okay. My mom always said, I gotta, I got a face for radio. I've been told that.
SPEAKER_04I actually I well, you and you know, Nick Nick Zollinger and I, we call ball games on the radio, and I've called games for do you realize for 21 seasons? Oh my goodness. Makes me feel really old. Well, you're you're really kind of a valley fixture, if I may be so bold.
SPEAKER_03Well, I don't know about that, but I do know that uh I do have a face for radio. And you've you've obviously obviously had a lot of experience, you know, sitting in front of a mic like we're doing tonight. Uh this is relatively new for me. I have loved every single thing that we've done. I think this is like episode, well, sometimes they get out of whack, but we've done like 20 plus episodes.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah, we I think we recently released uh number 20. Now, this by the time this one comes out, it might be like 23 or 24. 24, it's hard to know. But 20 episodes that have been out there, that's kind of cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and and we're actually getting uh we're actually getting quite a few listeners. I I think we've got like when I checked last time, it's like 5,000 downloads.
SPEAKER_04Hey, for a couple of dudes that have only been doing this for a couple few months. Yeah, we're crushing it. Hey, it's it's been a lot of fun. And and people that are out there listening, you guys, thank you so much. We sincerely appreciate it. It's a lot of fun to talk to people that out of nowhere say, been loving your pod. And I'm like, how do all these people know about it? But it's it's been a lot of fun and it's just grown like wildfire.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I keep teasing my girls that I am going to become an influencer. Wow. Yeah, I mean influencing for good. Well, well, we'll see. You can influence for whatever you want. But one thing uh I hope this is ex- I hope this is a uh shameless plug because I intend it to be a shameless plug. Um I'm so ashamed right now. Don't don't be ashamed. Uh we gotta have some subscribers. Like, I mean, we got a lot of downloads, got a lot of listeners. Don't be afraid to click the subscribe button. I think that's what in this business, that's what you need. Well, I've heard it. I mean, when the kids watch YouTube, I'd be don't forget to subscribe.
SPEAKER_04Give us a thumbs up. I mean, I kind of kind of roll my eyes every time, but apparently it matters with these podcasts. If you if you wouldn't mind subscribing and giving us the five-star review, whatever it is, don't give us the two. I know. I don't I still kind of want to hunt that person down. I just think they were drunk. Yeah, yeah, I think they probably or an older person that's like, oh, one is drink.
SPEAKER_02They don't just give out A pluses, so we'll give you a two.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Also, if if you're out there listening and you know of somebody, or if you are that person that would maybe like us to do some advertising for you on this pot, hey, I'm happy to do it.
SPEAKER_03I'm happy. Listen, there's a lot of products that I love and adore and I use on a regular basis. Um I mean, men's grooming products seems to come right to the front of mind.
unknownReally?
SPEAKER_03No, I'm kidding. Yeah, you didn't. You look great. I look great, thank you. Thank you, I feel great. Um, but for sure we would.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely. I mean, we've had some on our Instagram account, we've had some people, I don't know how they get it, but some products were like, nah, that's that's not for us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we're good. And I think uh speaking of Instagram, uh Small Towns Podcast. That's so all one word, small towns with an S at the end, Small Towns Podcast. Follow us on Instagram.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we're gonna try to be a little bit more active on that. Uh, full disclosure, my daughter has been handling that for us up till this point. Doing a great job. Um, Maya, if you're listening, love you. Thank you. But um, we're gonna Jason and I are gonna try to take a little bit more interest in that and and so we can maybe post some pictures of the stories we're telling. Um we can we can have that be a lot of fun, I think.
SPEAKER_03We actually did a little spoiler alert, we did a little photo shoot, Dave and I, the other day. I think you're gonna love it.
SPEAKER_04I said, Well, I did. We'll get those on there as soon as we can.
SPEAKER_03As soon as we can. So for sure, follow us on Instagram. Uh, and whether you're listening to us uh through Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, subscribe. Yeah, subscribe. I think what it yeah, it helps us, but also when you subscribe, then you get like a little notification uh when we release another episode.
SPEAKER_04And sometimes those we try on Wednesday nights, but sometimes weird things happen, so it should be right around that time. Um and so we're just know that we'd we'd love that if you could do it.
SPEAKER_03We'd it'd help us out a ton. Well, Dave, as I watch the clock, now we are we're four minutes 20 seconds into this thing, and shameless plug. Subscribe to us, listen to us, download us, and we will advertise for you.
SPEAKER_04Yep, if you'd like us to advertise for you, it will be darn cheap. All we're trying to do is pay for this thing, because as of right now, Jason and I are we're we're in the hole.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, listen, we're we're we're uh bankrolling this thing, and uh don't you worry, don't you worry, we'll bankroll it till we have only two pennies to rub together because we're having a great time. Yes, it's been a lot of fun for us. We thought about um introducing a new segment to the pod. Think it could be great. I think it could be big.
SPEAKER_04It could be, depending on who we might want to get involved with this thing. Dave, walk us through it. What are your thoughts? So, uh in the idea of the small towns, I mean, we have we've grown up around many, many great people, and and you're probably one of those people listening right now. And we think it'd be fun to make a phone call, maybe maybe once an episode. That's not a bad idea. Or maybe if it's even if it's not once an episode, maybe once every other episode. But there's certain people that we think that would be fun to have on the pod. And when I called my sons a couple of podcasts ago and it worked through my cell phone, yeah, I think that this could be a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_03I think it could be a lot of fun, and and a lot of people have asked me actually, they say, Jason, do you and Dave script this? And the answer is absolutely not. No. Uh we have a few notes, uh, topics that we want to cover, and a lot of times we don't even share them with each other because we kind of want the varnished reaction. Yeah. Unvarnished reaction. Sorry, unvarnished reaction. And so I think when we we call these individuals, um we'll just ask them questions, we'll just see where it goes. We're not gonna prep them.
SPEAKER_04No, I mean I the only thing that I have done is is is sent a text tonight that says, Will would you be interested in being on the podcast tonight? And he knows nothing more. Nothing more. So let's hey with without further ado. Let's try it. Mr. Ryan Dunkley will be called this evening. If anybody knows me, you probably know Ryan. He is he's he's one in a million.
SPEAKER_03He's plus, I mean, his name has been mentioned on this podcast multiple times.
SPEAKER_04Multiple times. Yeah, he Ryan and I have been good buddies since fifth grade and I've had had a lot of fun experiences together. He and I uh both we ran for student body officers our senior year, and I remember in his front living room we were saying, okay, who's gonna run for president, who's gonna run for vice president? A lot of people that know us probably don't realize this hap this is how it happened. We literally flipped a coin. Really? Flipped a coin, and and it turned out that I ran for president, he ran for vice president, and we we won, and we had a lot of fun with it. And our other buddy Jason Hansy, we had a lot of we had a lot of fun with that. But we're gonna call Dunkley tonight. Okay, perfect. Let's get him on the horn. He is expecting this call, although he has no idea what we're gonna talk about. And I'm gonna jump right into this and see what he says. Okay.
unknownHello?
SPEAKER_04Well, hey, good evening. How are you?
unknownGood, how are you?
SPEAKER_04Good. We got you on the pod tonight. Uh are you okay with this?
SPEAKER_00The podcast?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, right on the podcast. I just turned you up. Hopefully, people listen. Yeah, just right on the podcast. We are doing this. We're doing it right now.
SPEAKER_03But you're live. You're live. And as you well know, we do not edit this for content. So I'm alive right now? Right this minute.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, well, well, it's getting recorded. We're laying we're laying the pod. We're laying the pod. And we're gonna drop this pod in probably the next couple of weeks. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, but wait a minute. Well, let's back up just a hair. Did you say you got an arrow in a tree?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I uh out shooting arrows and I hit a little high on the target and put one in the pine tree. I can tell that he's it's lodged in there pretty good.
SPEAKER_03He's your kind of guy. Yeah, he is my kind of guy, and I I can tell that.
SPEAKER_00I hate that stupid tree though, so well, just cut that thing down, get the arrow out.
SPEAKER_04You're no arborist, that's for sure. Hey, let me ask you this one. Ryan, let me ask you this one. When you have a guy over to sleep over at your house and you're a young man, what goes through your head when you think, I'm gonna give us snacks, and those snacks are gonna be just a big old raw carrot that hasn't been peeled? What were you thinking that night?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'll tell you what I was thinking. I thought your eyesight was poor. And I thought that you could use some nutrition.
SPEAKER_04I was a little peaky that night.
SPEAKER_00I'll tell you right now, the cupboards were bare, and that was all we had in that refrigerator.
SPEAKER_04Well, I don't believe that at all. I I know Craig and Cindy, and there's no way they had a they had an empty they had an empty cupboard.
SPEAKER_00I'll I'll tell you why it was empty. I'll go back to a previous podcast when you talked about a deer hanging in our garage. Yeah, that's the reason the cupboards were bare is because you had eaten all the jerky off of that deer.
SPEAKER_04Wait, what? I don't I don't eat I don't eat deer.
SPEAKER_00In an earlier podcast, you talked about how we hung a deer in the garage and how gross it was. And I've been dying for this opportunity, but um I'd like to let all your listeners know that you ate that dairy.
SPEAKER_04So I've I'm feeling I'm feeling a little uh used, manipulated, a little betrayed at this point. I mean, just for all of you.
SPEAKER_00That round jerky that looked like licorice, that was deer jerky.
SPEAKER_04I just thought I was eating beef. It was delicious, though.
SPEAKER_00That's why you got a carrot that night.
SPEAKER_04He's like he ate way too much venison.
SPEAKER_03Is venison deer? Yeah, it is, buddy. Look at me. You you're real you've come a long way. Now listen, Ryan, I I identify with you, buddy, because I I can't even count how many deer we've had strung up in our garage or our shop. And and and deer jerky, venison jerky is some of the best out there. Oh, it's delicious.
SPEAKER_04Do you still do you still do you still go hunt deer and eat it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, two weeks. Well, actually, the the opener's in a week and a half. And you're just gonna slime out shooting arrows, I'm trying to get warmed up.
SPEAKER_03Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. You're gonna shoot a deer with an arrow? Not a boy.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah. Are you uh sharpshooter? Well, I just put one in the pine tree, so that's that's true.
SPEAKER_04Hey, um do you have any different memories than I had about us trying to put manure on the Logan High football field? Because I don't remember I don't remember having even a plan besides we had manure in two pickup trucks.
SPEAKER_00Oh, there was no plan. Well, the plan yes, there was. There were two plans. There was a plan A and a plan B. The plan A was to put it on the football field.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_00And if we couldn't get into the football field, the plan B was we were gonna put it on the front steps of the Logan High School. Oh but and I, by the way, I had us out of that. The rest of that night, I had us out until uh JR blew our cover.
SPEAKER_04JR narked us out that night.
SPEAKER_00And I don't think it helped. I I I didn't know this until after we got down to the police station. But I don't think it helped. One of the officers said, Well, we knew you were up to something because a big MC was sprayed in the manure in the back of the truck. And it turns out Jenny Holmes uh with some spray paint had had spray painted the big MC in there. So I knew they knew my story was not adding up.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know she did that. All I know is she helped all I know is how she helped shovel it out the back when we we had we got caught and had to go put it away.
SPEAKER_00I didn't know either until the officer told me.
SPEAKER_04Oh hone. Yeah, yeah. I mean that's not that's her maiden name, but we're gonna always call her Jenny. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, she's this has been this is interesting because we we tell a lot of stories, and now we're getting this from a from a invested a vested party, if you will. I mean, Ryan, you were there.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I was there. I was there, I was there loading the manure. Uh I I I don't remember unloading the manure. I might have sweet talked my way out of that one.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I did. I was not in that back of that truck. It seems to me that you made Jenny Holm unload the manure.
SPEAKER_00Two truckloads, it sounds like. No, I think they had some, they I think they had some spray cans, and they just got a little uh they just jumped the gun a little bit. I don't know how to see it or what, but super excited.
SPEAKER_04Hey, I got a phone, I got a I got a text after that, or something I think might have been through Facebook or something. That old Matt Rudd said that Logan High also spray painted our locker room. Did you know that?
SPEAKER_00Somebody didn't know that.
SPEAKER_04They were hooligans.
SPEAKER_00But we we took on some heavy fire from opposing schools. We had our horse painted purple one time by the beans. We had the horse decorated in uh uh crimson and gold by Logan. We had a uh big old L burned in the field. We took on some heavy you know what's funny is Mrs. Menlove.
SPEAKER_04Um Ronda, Rhonda Menlove with it.
SPEAKER_00Yep, yeah. She said, you know what? You guys stay at the school overnight and I want you to watch the property.
SPEAKER_04And uh bunch of 17-year-olds holding down the fort.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and we got occupied doing something else. Probably shouldn't mention that still. Um, and woke up the next morning, and that that horse was as purple as as purple gets. It was we did not do our job.
SPEAKER_03So uh just from uh from an innocent uh third party advisor here, Ryan, what I'm picking up is that that you're a horrible watch guard. I mean, so obviously the the the damage was done, and you're talking about all the damage that was done to your school. You guys, I mean, no no no offense to the mountain crest people, but you guys, did you do anything in retaliation or did you just get and take it? We got arrested for it.
SPEAKER_04Well, I know, but you need to be a little bit more of an effective criminal. Hey, look, I still lay up at night wondering how we could have done a little better on that. Yeah. It wasn't our best. Yeah. Ryan, let me ask you this. Let me ask you this one real quick. When we're riding down Eckhill on that bike together, oh boy, what was going through your mind?
SPEAKER_00Well, it's I didn't know we didn't have brakes. So I don't know. So when when we hit the gut breaker, when we hit the flat part of the gut breaker and we were heading down that hill, and you started waving and yelling to the car, kicking me off that something was wrong. I'm like, what is going on? And I mean, I'm on that back just legs just out on dying. You start yelling, I start panicking, but I didn't really know the whole story until we crashed on Carol Davis's lawn, and then you told me we didn't have brakes.
SPEAKER_04I would I didn't didn't the fact we were going about 50 miles an hour down that hill maybe say, I don't think we got brakes. And the fact that I was on the bar, I mean, no, no man in his right mind rides on the bar.
SPEAKER_00I just thought you were anxious to get me home. I didn't know what was going on.
SPEAKER_04I we probably just need okay, here let me ask you this one. The greatest Kool-Aid flavor of all time, go.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh, that's easy. Purple Sorus Rex. That's a at a boil.
SPEAKER_04Purple source rex. We used to have the last Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00I need a diet purple source rex at this point in my life. But purple source rex was the way to go.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it was delicious. It is delicious. Every day on the last day of summer vacation, we would have the last sip of summer, and we would uh make some purple source rex and then enjoy the last sip of summer and then go back to school.
SPEAKER_03Let me ask you boys this question. My mom did not do this, but I had some of my friends' moms who did. They ever try and trick you with a flavor aid as opposed to Kool-Aid? No. Our moms weren't abusive like that. Yeah, because you go up somebody, you're expecting purple source rex, or you're expecting even just a nice classic cherry.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And it's flavoring? Yeah, it's disgusting. Disgusting. What comes in second place in your mind after Purple Source Rex?
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's a good one. Uh probably. Probably uh I always liked cherry. I I know that that's a boring answer.
SPEAKER_04No, but did you guys remember not only Purple Sorcerer X at the time, there was also Roccodile Red?
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_04So good. It's so good. Yeah, that's I that just delicious.
SPEAKER_00Hey uh Jason, yeah, I think I misheard you. Did you say that your friends' moms were serving dip?
SPEAKER_03No, buddy. Buddy, what kind of show you think we're running here? No, flavor aid.
SPEAKER_00I didn't hear what you said.
SPEAKER_01I thought dip means something else to me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, his friend's parents are asking him to take a little dip. Take a little dip, just tuck it between your lip and cheek. There you go. No, buddy, I said you're are you are your mom serving you flavor aid as opposed to Kool-Aid?
SPEAKER_04You know, the you know the off-brand stuff. It's just yeah, it's no good. That's nasty.
SPEAKER_00We never had that, no. Hey, I think off-brand Kool-Aid was 11 cents a pouch.
SPEAKER_03I know. I I mean that's a lot of beverage for 11 cents. But we had like a we had a container in the cupboard that was just like jam-packed full of it. Like you kind of scroll through the city. Was it Kool-Aid paper? Kool-Aid. Good. Kool-Aid. That's good. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Hey Ryan, I know you told me that you uh first of all, the fact that you said I have a hockey game at 10 o'clock blew my mind. Because A, I d highly doubt that you can actually ice skate, let alone turn around and go backwards to ice skate.
SPEAKER_00I'll tell you what, you got an open invitation.
SPEAKER_04Would you put me up against the boards? Would you put me up against the boards?
SPEAKER_00No, because in our in this, this is um developmental league, and we can't put people up against the boards. So so no. Um, but you should come and play. Uh and matter of fact, I got two stories uh about Hawk. You probably couldn't tell on this podcast, but um I know this is a family show, so maybe maybe I'll run them by you before I share them with the public.
SPEAKER_04Well, we would we would like to think that we can call you up anytime we want and get you on this pod.
SPEAKER_00And oh, I'd I'd I'd love it.
SPEAKER_03Before you go though, I and I don't want to bounce back to this story, but I just need to share with you, and maybe we talked about this last time when when you guys were uh cruising down at Kill, uh just throwing off caution to the wind. I just want you to know that in my mind's eye, particularly when you said, Ryan, that your legs were just kind of like sticking straight out, split out, like in my mind, all I can picture is you and Dave going down there like your Laverne and Shirley. Remember the opening credits of Laverne Shirley? Or or Lloyd and Harry, Lloyd and Harry on the little motorbike. Oh my goodness, yeah. So I can that's that's what's in my mind's eye right now, and it is breathtaking.
SPEAKER_00All I can say is we were going faster than both of those people, Laverton and Shirley and Dumb and Dumb.
SPEAKER_04There might have been a f fire flying up from behind, like the DeLorean and Back of the Future. You're like, what year are you guys going to? Hey, before I let you go, does your dad still think I'm a mooch?
SPEAKER_00No, but can I share one story about my dad and you?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. Please.
SPEAKER_00Would that be appropriate?
SPEAKER_04Appropriate. I hope so.
SPEAKER_00Jason, we're in the garage. And uh this is uh my dad's fixing the car, and Dave asks him, Hey, hey, Craig, what's wrong with the car? He's like, the radiator. Uh Dave says, uh, well, what does the radiator do?
SPEAKER_04And I think my dad was disgusted because I told him about the they all say Stanley story shop class. That's I think he was disgusted.
SPEAKER_00So all he had the patience to say was uh it radiates. And I think Dave just took that in stride, and and from that point on, the radiator radiated.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it got me into trouble thanks to your dad and sitting in driver's head. I'm sitting in there with old Kenny Thompson, the teacher, and he goes, Because I must have been dozing or something. He's like, damn it. Uh what does a carburetor do? And I look up, and as quick as quick, I said, Well, it carburetes. And he didn't like that one bit. Not one bit at all. Thanks a lot, Craig Dunkley. I'm gonna need the guy, the older gentlemen in my life, including Craig Dunkley, my father. Teach me the things I need to know.
SPEAKER_03There are a few things, there are a few absolutes that you need to know. Every man needs to know.
SPEAKER_04And here's the thing, I still don't know what a carburetor or a radiator do. Well, that could be a whole podcast.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it could be. Well, but you could fail a book with what you don't know.
SPEAKER_04Well, Ryan, thanks for being on this. We're gonna make sure to do this a little bit more often if you're willing to do it. It's fun.
SPEAKER_00Oh, for sure. Hey, it's my pleasure. Thank you.
SPEAKER_04Go win the hockey game. Will do. Okay, see you. See you buddy. See you later. See ya bye.
SPEAKER_03Hey, that was fun. That was fun. Yeah, it was good. I mean, it was that was that That was un unrehearsed. Unscripted.
SPEAKER_04Unscripted. He didn't know anything we were going to ask. He did give me a carrot though. And it wasn't like they'd cut it up into nice little carrot sticks and gave it to me with a little thing of ranch dressing to dip it. No. Did they at least peel it? No.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_04And I don't even say they. Cindy, Cindy would probably be appalled that Ryan tossed down. And it was straight out of the bag. Oh my goodness. And he threw it down the stairs to me. It wasn't like he brought it down and handed it over. He said, hey, come to the stairs. And I get to the bottom of the stairs and he tosses down a carrot. And I'm like, well, what am I supposed to do with this? Are we going out to build a snowman? Exactly. Like, are we going to feed a reindeer? What are we doing here with this? I got some Mike Tyson punch out over here. I gotta win this thing, and you can't be eating carrot sticks.
SPEAKER_03Hey, did you play Nintendo? Dip it in your flavor, eh? Yeah. Yeah, I did play. I uh just the Nintendo, the original Nintendo. Yeah. So we went from like we had an Atari. Uh we also had a Sega Genesis, which was super awesome. Uh I don't think that ever got any traction. And then just the original Atari, but yes, I did. You know, it's funny how you remember certain things. Did you play Mike Tyson's Punch Out? Um, no, I my eye hand coordination's horrible. You got me there for a second. I'm like, it's really more thumb coordinated. Well, my thumb coordination is horrible. I mean, if I'm not shooting a duck or making Mario jump up and down, hitting his head against a brick, that's all I know how to do.
SPEAKER_04I wonder how many guys our age know the code still to be able to basically jump, and you don't have to fight anybody else, you can jump right to it's it's one of those hack codes.
SPEAKER_03You can jump jump right to Mike Tyson. Oh, really? I did not know that. Like, but when we say that, it made me think of like Mortal Kombat, because I played Mortal Kombat. No. And it was like this combination that you're talking about. No, you're talking Contra. Contra, thank you. Drop, down, down, left, right, left, right, ABA.
SPEAKER_04I and I remember Mike Tyson punt punch out code. Really? 0073735963. That'll get you right to Mike Tyson.
SPEAKER_03Get you right to Mike Tyson.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's it's a cheat code.
SPEAKER_03Um we we won't have time on this podcast, but we've already uh spoken with him, but we're gonna call my friend slash cousin, my best friend growing up.
SPEAKER_04I'm glad that you finally just admitted that maybe he's a friend before a cousin. But no, we're cousins. You're not. Like, I mean, I can tell you. I gotta talk to him too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you can talk to him. Does he know you're not really cousins? Like we're cousins because like Jay, my great-grandpa and his great-grandpa were like brothers or something like that. Or something like that. That's a whole nother topic. But he and I actually we went in on, if you will, a Nintendo, a subscription to a Nintendo magazine that you would get every month and it would give you all of these hacks.
SPEAKER_04It was like to warp in Mario Brothers?
SPEAKER_03Yes, exactly.
SPEAKER_04It was like basically a paper version of Google. Well now, yeah, now the kids, the games they're playing these days are they're too advanced for me.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh, I can't. Anytime, so I I I realize that Mike Tyson wasn't a first-person shooter game. I realize that because we're talking Nintendo, but you know Mike Tyson's a boxer, right? Yeah, exactly. Okay, okay, okay. Is he the one that got his ear bit off? He's the one doing the bite. He bit somebody's ear off.
SPEAKER_04He got a real high voice though. Yeah, he does, but you don't want to get punched in the face by it. I don't want him to bite my ear off. I'd rather not get punched in the face by anybody.
SPEAKER_03Oh, for sure. But I uh made me think of those next generation. Maybe it was a Nintendo 64. I again, I I'm not an expert when it comes to this stuff. I I can't keep up with those types of video games anymore. First person, I just get I'm like, where am I? Like, am I am I I don't even know what's going on. Yeah, I know. You're walking into a wall and they're like, hey, let's go. And I I don't really care to do it either. I just want to like say, you know, push the button and the ducks fly up and then you shoot, and then the dog laughs at you. His big old shoulders are shaking up and down. I know.
